Yesterday I attended my first Green Drinks Event. This event happens once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. I was very cool to meet people that come from all different backgrounds of business, but all to do with GREEN / ECO / Sustainable filed. Toronto - Fashion Takes Action

Designers were charged with the task of creating three outfits and were able to choose from up to 70 available materials from B.C.-based supplier Syka Fabrics. Annie Thompson, Damzels in this Dress, Rosa Costanzo, Sarah Nicol, Farley Chatto, JUMA, Thieves by Sonja den Elzen, Thien Le, Ula Zukowska and Pat McDonagh were the participating designers - seven of whom had never used the materials before.
