GreenShows Eco-Fashion Week
Organizers of GreenShows Eco-Fashion Week have confirmed the debut of the much anticipated eco-friendly fashion showcase for Sept. 15-16 during the New York collections. The two-day event at 72 Greene Street will feature shows by eco-friendly brands such as Bodkin, Izzy Lane, Bahar Shahpar, House Of Organic, Lara Miller, Mr. Larkin and STUDY by Tara St. James. “The fashion industry needs to be more accountable to environmental damage and pollution,” says Eric Dorfman, founder of EdMedia Inc. and GreenShows. “While eco-designers are leading the way for a more sustainable lifestyle, without sacrificing style, prominent fashion designers need to take on more responsibility to safeguard our natural resources and achieve zero waste. GreenShows is designed to foster and support eco-designers to continue creating fashion and as a platform to bring eco-fashion mainstream.” Partners of the event include the Rainforest Action Network (RAN), which will co-host the opening night event on September 15 and has a new campaign out called "Don't Bag Indonesia's Rainforests," and John Masters Organics. GreenShows will also debut BodegaGreen, a replica of a neighborhood convenience store featuring a selection of lifestyle eco-products.

Lip Balm
My favorite Lip Balm...you can buy it at Sephora and VS.
Cocoa my Coconut is the best color as its nude and goes with all make up.
The Balm
Formulated with a special combination of folic acid, menthol and Vitamin C, these sexy tinted glosses reduce the look of fine lines. An additional ingredient, Maxi-Lip, works cumulatively to hydrate lips and make them look fuller.

Christy Turlington - Stripe Long Dress
Christy Turlington - its been awhile since I ran across her picture.
Here she is with a wearing a great Striped Dress with one of my favorite colors for a purse ORANGE.
I have come across many striped t-shirts and dresses, its defenitly a bit of a trend. I also think its very Luxurious looking.
Horizontal stripes are not for everyone, but if you can pull it off, go light on the accessories but BOLD on the colors like Christy.
Here is one from http://www.victoriassecret.com/
Eco Glamour Blog
This blog was created for my love for fashion and the great designers I have come across in all parts of the world. I also wanted to show the amazing style of some eco-friendly (organic clothing) designers and I salute them as they are making a great impact on our environment. There are many photos and links included, and I hope to have comments and suggestions made by anyone that comes across this blog. I appreciate all input and any leads to things that may be of interest to me. Thank you Patricia
